    I'm glad you are consciously looking at the best ways to tell your success stories. As for a 2-minute rule, it depends no the situation. If you are networking, it makes sense to be brief, even in 1-2 sentences! In an interview, I recommend starting out with a short reply or 3-4 minutes and then ask if your listener would like more detail. START with a pointed question about their particular challenge before you tell your SAR/CAR story so you can tailor it slightly to their pain point! Is that helpful? Thanks for your post!

    Sounds good. What about oral renditions of these SAR or CAR stories? Some coaches say you need to get through them in 2 minutes. It's difficult to do even the setup in that time (the S or C portion). Also, interviewers hope you will orally map straight lines to the applicability of solutions to each part of their problem or challenge. More dissection time and effort consumed, and you can't sound glib or superficial or assume more knowledge of the interviewer's environment than you can rightfully claim.
